Dear valued supporters,
We are excited to announce the keynote speakers for the upcoming Therapeutic + Applied + Geek + Gaming Summit 2023 (TAGGS 2023). We have lined up three incredibly accomplished and knowledgeable individuals from the fields of therapy, gaming, and geek culture to give the keynote addresses at this year’s summit.
First, we are proud to announce that Kieron Gillen, co-creator of DIE, DIE RPG, The Wicked + the Divine, and Once & Future, will be delivering the TTRPG Track Keynote. We are very excited to have him talk about DIE and share his thoughts on using DIE RPG intentionally.
Next, we are excited to have Derrick “The Situational Therapist” Hoard, a licensed marriage and family therapist with expertise in using Video Games and Geek Culture in their practice, will be giving a keynote address on being an Unapologetically Geeky Therapist.
Finally, we have Kelli Dunlap, a clinical psychologist and a game designer and an authority in the field of psychology and game design. Her research over the last 10 years has focused on the intersection of games and mental health.
We welcome you to join us in this opportunity to hear from these accomplished professionals in their respective fields. You can expect to gain valuable insights on how to leverage technology and gaming in therapeutic settings to improve patient outcomes, as well as learn about the latest trends in geek culture and how it relates to therapy and well-being.
